The World is Really One Place
Desmond Tutu – 1984 Nobel Peace Prize winner has shared a few thoughts. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we all thought like this man?

What about the spouses?
We all know about the GOP 2012 presidential hopefuls – but what about their spouses? This is an interesting little video showing pictures and a brief bio of each couple. Who knows what the future holds?

Religion + Money = Godliness?
Interesting little article about some polling results. White Evangelical Tea Party Republicans (Religious Right) seems to be group that believes unregulated businesses will act ethically. This is also the group that prefers their preachers to speak out against abortion and homosexuality rather than economic issues. This also seems to be the group that beleives the free market is guided by the hand of God.
I also believe this is the group that will ultimately bring down the Grand Old Party. This group has already hijacked trure Christianity so the GOP is their next victim – IMHO

Is History Poised to Repeat Itself?
This is an article about the woman I read about a few days ago and I made a comment about the abortion issue is set to get all fired up again real soon.
Just exactly what constitutes the legal definition of threats to another person? All I know is that this all seems like deja vu to me and the feeling I get is not a good one.

The Ghost of Reagan…..
An interesting article about the effects of Reagan’s infamous firing of all those Air Traffic Controllers. I wonder what the effects will be 30 years from now from all these Republicans and their insatiable quest to demonize all public service and/or union jobs? What will our country look like? One thing for sure, I’ll think twice before flying again.

Deja vu?
The U.N. has passed a resolution for no-fly zone for Libya. Notice who has veto power and which countries obviously did not join the party. Is this a positive step to end the current conflict or is it just one more step closer to all out war in another Arab country? What are your thoughts?

Signs of a new grassroots movement – this time without the tea?
Actually, if working people would collectively join in this group – they would be stronger than the current unions. And there is not one damn thing GOP elected officials to do to get rid of a grassroots movement – unless they want to get rid of their own Tea Party at the same time.
