I HATE the word CANCER. And while we have to listen to Trump whine and tweet his nonsense from his Adult Day Care in the White House – there are ‘real’ Americans facing ‘real’ problems in this world.
I’m in a no-man’s land right now. I had a biopsy of my thyroid more than two weeks ago and the pathologist isn’t willing to use either of the words benign or malignant. They want to redo the biopsy, I want to just get rid of the suspicious thyroid.
The best the pathologist will say is, “These cytologic findings fit best with the category of “suspicious for a Hurthle cell neoplasm”
Guess what? When I google ‘Hurthle cell neoplasm,” it says a rare form of thyroid cancer.
Right now I’m between a proverbial rock and a hard place. The endocrinologist, the pathologist and Medicare are deciding my future. I don’t think it’s gonna come out well, but I am helpless.

I saw a comment in our local newspaper’s Opinion Line that I found interesting.
If every Black Adult American bought and registered a gun today, Republicans would pass gun control by Friday.
