The biggest saving graves is his supporters are finally starting to realize on their own. That he is a serial lair, that in fact it is not raining! I admit I am not beyond being able to be fooled. Lord know I live it everyday that if I think I know the answers, Life changes the questions on me. I am still suspecting a more devious plot though. That Mickey was the real intention all along. I believe it is called “Bait and switch”.

“…..more ridiculous?” Definitely the fools who believe. And they are NOT a majority. The only majority is within the Electoral College. And that is very unfortunate for both any Republic, or especially any real Democracy.

    • The remedy for that is – to get more Americans to vote.

47% of Americans did not vote
3% voted for Jill Stein or Gary Johnson

      That left 50%

Hillary won 2.9 million more votes to win the Popular Vote

Trump won the Electoral College due to some small percentage of victories in the key states.

BUT – if we got more Americans to vote – then those close races in the key states would not be so close – perhaps?

This is why Republicans have consistently worked so long to make it harder to vote.

The dirty little secret is – the more Americans vote, the less likely Republicans will win.

I see no indication his supporters are “getting it”.. They are just as rabid as ever. Just now, I am listening to one of his radio shills whining that the photo of a woman holding littlehands’s head terrified poor little Baron Trump! The boy thoought it was real and his daddy was dead! Seriously!
In my humble opinion the only thing wrong with that pic is it looked too cartoonish, not nearly real enough. But that’s just me.
Now we KNOW what a rich, sheltered life made for ugh…Donald. If anyone ever dared question him, they were fired. Anyone who openly disliked him was likely in for far more severe punishment up to and including having their lives, careers destroyed. And I do not put having those who openly defied him killed out of the realm of possibility. So it is likely, young Baron, like his father, has very little contact with reality. But was he really “traumatized!” by what is really not much more than a cartoon? Maybe, but only in the sense he is learning that SHOCK! people LOTS of people, millions of people, actually do not like his dad!
Welcome to reality Baron. Maybe you can help introduce your dad to it? Oh and son? You are fair game. So is your mother and your entire family. And it is not your fathers political foes put you in that place. Nope, that was your dad.

    • I disagree that kids are fair game.

I realize Republicans don’t give a fat rat’s ass because they had such fun mocking Chelsea Clinton when her father was president and Obama’s girls for the past 8 years.

But just because Republicans do it – does not make it the right thing to do.

Kathy Griffin crossed the line of decency – and she could have gotten her message across in a different way.

The sad part is – by Kathy Griffin doing it this way – she handed Trump something he could use against her. That is something that should never be done.

Like when Bill Clinton handed these Republicans his head on a silver platter when he lied about Monica Lewinsky.

From that point on – Republicans could always use that as their justification for hating him even more.

NEVER give the opposition any fuel for their fire.

  4. Jim Wright, Stonekettle Station says —

    “And there it is.

We’re out of the Paris Climate Accord.

Trump just officially told the future to go fuck itself. Sorry, kids, but we just don’t give a shit about you. Profit NOW matters more than a world for you to live in. Oh, and the best part? All the people who made the decision to shit on your future, they’ll all be dead by the time you’re old enough to do anything about it other than piss on their graves.

I don’t want to hear any conservative ever mention abortion again. These sons of bitches don’t give a good goddamn about kids or life or anything but money.”

  5. According to Robert Reich: Other whoppers in Trump’s speech on withdrawing from the Paris accord:

    1. “China will be allowed to build hundreds of additional coal plants. So, we can’t build the plants, but they can, according to this agreement.”

False. Under the Paris agreement, each country publicly declares how much it will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and what it will do to get there. In fact, China has actually taken steps to stop building coal plants. China has cut its use of coal three years in a row.

    2. “Even if the Paris Agreement were implemented in full, with total compliance from all nations, it is estimated it would only produce a two-tenths of one degree — think of that; this much — Celsius reduction in global temperature by the year 2100. Tiny, tiny amount.”

Misleading. Tackling climate problems depends on taking a series of incremental steps to reduce carbon emissions. Pulling out of the Paris agreement would require even bigger future reductions.

    3. “At 1 percent growth, renewable sources of energy can meet some of our domestic demand. But at 3 or 4 percent growth, which I expect, we need all forms of available American energy, or our country will be at grave risk of brownouts and blackouts.”

Baloney. Economic growth stems from population growth and improvements in productivity. Neither of these factors will drive 3 percent or 4 percent growth in the U.S, regardless.

    4. “India will be allowed to double its coal production by 2020. Think of it. India can double their coal production. We’re supposed to get rid of ours.”

Rubbish. The Paris accord doesn’t even mention the word coal, nor does it do anything to put a global moratorium on coal. Each signatory sets its own goals and has to report on its progress. India has committed to reduce emissions 33 to 35 percent of 2005 levels by 2030.

We have a president who will say anything. Anything.

Know the facts. Spread the truth.

Here’s some more at the link —

    • I forced myself to listen to Televangelist Pat Robertson yesterday. This old fart was spewing the same talking points.

And then we wonder why Trump always runs to his base supporters?

BTW – Pat Robertson also proudly stated yesterday that the Kurds in Syria, Iraq and Turkey should be given their own homeland and recognized as a nation.

Did I miss the day when God died and gave Pat his job?

BTW – if Kurds deserve their own homeland – then why don’t the Palestinians?

Spot on read.. tiny hands just declared war on the planet. And the planet and much of America is fighting back. States and cities are declaring they will stand with the Paris accord. So he has essentially started a civil war.
