    • But…..Republicans can do anything they want – Jesus said they can because Jesus loves them the best.

I’ve said this before – Trump is not the problem.

Trump’s core supporters are these White Evangelical Kristians who have given him this false appearance that he is a good Christian man who only wants to help America.

Any and all things that happens under Trump – I blame these Evangelical Kristians – namely, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell Jr and Franklin Graham – to name a few.

I’ve heard enough nonsense from all three of these men to make me want to vomit.

This is why I use the letter ‘K’ instead of ‘C’ when I call them Kristians. These folks are church people – I doubt they are true Christians.

And we all know what Jesus did to the money changers in the Temple – don’t we?

All three of these men are very wealthy and they have been raking in tax-free millions for years.

I get very angry when I see money changers using the good name of Jesus to line their own pockets and to justify their selfish agenda.

    • Chuck Schumer, new Democratic Senate leader, took the letter above written by Mitch McConnell and after changing a few names (it’s now from the democrats and to the republicans) sent it to McConnell today! 🙂

  1. 1/7/17

    The federal week in review:

    1. Trump fires all Ambassadors and Special Envoys, ordering them out by inauguration day.

    2. House brings back the Holman rule allowing them to reduce an individual civil service, SES positions, or political appointee’s salary to $1, effectively firing them by amendment to any piece of legislation. We now know why they wanted names and positions of people in Energy and State.

    3. Senate schedules 6 simultaneous hearings on cabinet nominees and triple-books those hearings with Trump’s first press conference in months and an ACA budget vote, effectively preventing any concentrated coverage or protest.

    4. House GOP expressly forbids the Congressional Budget Office from reporting or tracking ANY costs related to the repeal of the ACA.

    5. Trump continues to throw the intelligence community under the bus to protect Putin, despite the growing mountain of evidence that the Russians deliberately interfered in our election.

    6. Trump breaks a central campaign promise to make Mexico pay for the wall by asking Congress (in other words, us, the taxpayers) to pay for it.

    7. Trump threatens Toyota over a new plant that was never coming to the US nor will take jobs out of the US.

    8. House passes the REINS act, giving them veto power over any rules enacted by any federal agency or department–for example, FDA or EPA bans a drug or pesticide, Congress can overrule based on lobbyists not science. Don’t like that endangered species designation, Congress kills it.

And those are just the big things.

    • Those are just the things we know about.

Wouldn’t it be funny to see a massive resignation or call-in-sick for the next week by Federal workers on January 20th?

Hey- Trump bragged he can do it all by himself – now’s the time to Put Up or Shut Up

  2. Looks to me like Andy missed one ……. a very big one: The Donald!

  3. Hey it worked this time, it seems that about ever other time I try to post here. It tells me i am not registered! Thank you all for commenting on my Facebook. Sometimes I post things that does not go over well with the rest of the family.I have said it before, they think I am too critical and of course they tend to be Trump supporters too. But some are seeing what I am saying it true.

  4. (from the link): This year, for the first time, a new president’s Cabinet nominations can’t be filibustered, making Trump’s task much easier. And gaining Senate confirmation wasn’t that hard to begin with: Over the last 40 years, new presidents’ Cabinet picks have usually sailed through the confirmation process — even a majority of those who faced headwinds were still ultimately approved.

From 1977 to 2013, the last six incoming presidents — Jimmy Carter through Barack Obama — made 109 appointments to Cabinet-level positions.1 Just six failed: Five nominees withdrew, and one was voted down by the Senate. The Senate confirmed 103 during the same span, 93 of whom were unanimously approved or not seriously contested. Ten were confirmed in contested votes. (I’m defining “contested” as more than six nay votes — admittedly a somewhat arbitrary cutoff.) Including the one rejection, that means that, whenever there was genuine dissent over a floor vote, the nominee was confirmed anyway 10 times out of 11.

It’s Really Hard To Block A Cabinet Nominee

New information says Russians used what they had against Hillary and held what they had on Trump, actively intervening to influence the election. Russia has MUCH dirt on Trump apparently.

This explains why Trump is so Russia friendly….
As much as I KNOW we Americans will suffer under Trump, I weep more for places like Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and even maybe ALL of Europe. Vlladmir Putin, a thouroughly EVIL and smart man has stolen our election and has an idiot puppet in Trump.

Protests rise. But they have yet to coalesce. Trump is a simpleton and moron. Somewhere, someone, has the perfect two or three word phrase that will frustrate this reactionary IDIOT. Until that gels, he must see as much protest and resistance as possible.
Do you know a Trump supporter? Unfriend them, refuse to speak to them and tell them why. Do not watch the Trump inaugural. This misanthrope THRIVES on attention. Do not give it to him. Let him and his supporters find an America decidedly divided and determined to stay that way.

    • I agree – Trump thrives on media attention. And it does not matter if it is negative or positive – he NEEDS the media attention.

All the mainstream media should simply report on the news of the day – but don’t go hanging around Trump Tower just waiting for her next spew of nonsense.

CUT the media attention on Trump and he will either grow up or wither away.

  6. Thunderchild

He aint gonna grow up. He’s been protected from that his whole life and it aint about to change now. A man in his 60’s who talks about grabbing women by their genitals and calls it locker room talk? No, donald trump hovers in mental maturity somewhere between your average 8 year old and occasionally grows to be about 13, but mostly, he is a preteen thug.
Do NOT watch his inaugural. Tell everyone who will listen not to watch his inaugural. He already has almost no entertainers willing to be a part of it. Imagine the BLOW to his ego if his inaugural is the least watched in history. Further? We should not refer to him by name anymore. He loves seeing his name in any context. No, we should make popular and mainstream referring to him as simply him, or that man, or Putins puppet or that no good rotten sonofabitch.

    • Let’s not forget T.C. – Trump himself thanked the Evangelical Kristians for getting him where he is today.

So – when Trump bragged about groping women’s p_____ -did you notice how many of these White Evangelical Kristians defended Trump?

That gives this the false appearance that Trump is a Godly man and has good morals.

There would be no Trump without his followers who are knowingly looking the other way so their chosen BULLY can do the cock strut dance for them all to somehow – be a part of his reality t.v. show?

Problem with that is – running a country is NOT being on a damn reality t.v. show.

Real lives are at stake here – not some damn ratings.

      • Hmmm….knowingly looking the other way – now why does that sound so familiar?

The Catholic Church was court ordered to pay millions in lawsuits to victims of Catholic priests molesting them when they were young boys. This has been going on for decades – nothing new.

Pray tell me – how many of these Church leaders – the Bishops, Cardinals and even the Pope have been kicked out of the church for knowingly covering up the crime of child molestation?

Did I miss the day when the Catholic Church had a huge yard sale to sell all their Golden Idols in order to pay for those lawsuit settlements?

In fact, the Catholic Church has continued to rake in tax-free millions from the same people that should have been outraged and sickened by their Church Leaders behavior.

I have been a very cynical person about churches or a long time – and then people wonder why?

Religion is a set of man-made rules to control people.

        Faith in God is Spiritual.

        NEVER confuse the two.

  7. Thunderchild

And they got Paul Anka, (anyone under 50 even REMEMBER him?) to sing a relyriced “My way” at the devils inaugural. Anka isn’t even an American. He is a Canadian who coopted a French song that was made popular by Frank Sinatra. Now he will reword it again to illustrate Trump. Well, when you never had any talent anyway, I guess you take any chance to get noticed.
    Don’t watch the inaugural.
