I am with her. She has been my choice all along. I would have voted for Bernie if he had won the nomination. Trump must be stopped!
I’m disappointed the media called the race for Hillary last night. I think if they had done that a few weeks ago when the fact was that the math told us she would win the nomination it would have been better timing. Doing it last night — one day before the primaries would have put her over the top made me wonder WHY couldn’t they wait one more day, after waiting several weeks?
Anyway, some of the Bernie supporters, even Bernie himself, want to drag out the battle. That too makes me sad, and worried. Like I said, Trump must be stopped!
I think of PrairiePond. I think she is probably ecstatic about Hillary’s nomination. She pulled hard for her back in 2008 and I imagine again this time too!
I’ve been very interested in the nonsense going on in the state of Kansas. I wish I thought Kansas voters would vote against the fools in our legislature in August and November. I don’t think they will. I have no confidence in Kansas voters. The reelected both Brownback and Kobach. That says it all!
I really want Hillary and Bernie to work-things-out. I have no problem supporting Hillary, now. However, she and Bill, et al, are in my mind very much “the establishment” and I like the fact that Bernie challenged that aspect of our society and government. Enough said: Go, Hillary, Go!
Like I’ve said several times before – I like Hillary but if people expect her to give Wall Street a much-needed ‘taken the woodshed’ punishment – I don’t think that’s going to happen.
But then again – that’s not Hillary’s fault. Obama tried to get Wall Street pulled in – and he met with many, many obstacles – didn’t he?
Corporatization of America was started by Reagan – IMHO. And sad to say, I think both political parties are in the hands of these Corporations.
I liked the fact that Bernie challenged the status quo of corporations and the 1% wealthies Americans – but I never for one moment thought Bernie had a snowball’s chance in hell to win.
Even if by a miracle Bernie had won the nomination – as president, he would have been a lame duck from the very first day – due to these corporations are in total control of our entire political system.
Again – that’s my opinion.
But at least with Hillary – I believe she will fight for the issues I am interested in – our kids, our environment, our national security.
fnord – as always – you remind me of the big picture. I agree 100% – to have any Republican (even Trump who has only been a registered Republican since 2012) could do so much damage in the SCOTUS arena
Missed all of you and this site. MS imposed upon me a download to replace my old v. and this being all new to me, it is taking much anger and work to learn the new commands. I’m very angry at Big Business: and now, it is worse. But, I’m trying. What can get worse? All I’m sure about is, it will.

The question I always come back to is: How would four Trump-chosen Supreme Court Justices affect a progressive agenda?

Good, as always, to hear from you. I’m really bad at new technology, so I feel for you!
