I’ve told Republicans to do some research on what Dwight Eisenhower said in his Farewell Speech about the military industrial complex – and they look at me like I’ve got two heads.
It really blows their mind when I tell them Dwight Eisenhower was the last Republican president that actually balanced the budget.
WHOA……..they all think Reagan balanced the budget. Yeah, right…
Here’s another Eisenhower speech well worth revisiting —

Do you think the same folks who are defending the Bundy Boys and their Gang would demonize the same protesters if they were black and waving the flag Black Lives Matter?
I keep reading these Bundy Boys and their fellow militia folks push the idea that the all federal lands belong to the people.
OKAY – that also includes me, as I am also an American citizen. And I WANT those Bundy Boys and their buddies OFF that land.
These Bundy Boys and their Gang is no different than the Westboro Baptist Church people in their obsessive and misdirected sense of entitlement from the American Constitution. Well – there is one difference. The Westboro Baptists carry their Bibles – the Bundys wear their assault weapons strapped across their fat beer guts and do the cock strut dance…
Bottom line – both the Bundy Boys and Gang and the Westboro Gang are people who obviously have way too much time on their hands are just looking for the next fight?
I do think they would be treated differently if they were black or of the Muslim faith. It makes me sad to say that, but evidence shows it’s true.
That said, I don’t want to see them treated with violence and force — I don’t want to see them treated the way we see many blacks treated.
Those Mormon Jihadists are isolated and no one but them is in potential danger. If they are in any danger they put themselves there and could remove themselves. What can they do? Property damage? Forest fire? They will come out and when they do they will be captured, they will be charged with whatever they do while hiding away in a bird sanctuary out of the way and where they can’t harm others. They’re some special kind of stupid who have trapped themselves.
Have you read how much government support they receive!? I’m telling you it reminds me of the tea baggers with their misspelled signs about keeping government out of their Medicare. There is no one more stupid than a radical republican tea bagger!
That is what makes the most angry – these folks are and have received government money for years – and they still say they hate the federal government?
On what planet does this make sense??
If these folks were true patriots – they would refuse the government checks and repay all those back payments.
Another day – another round of endless and useless babble from all those good folks on the ‘right’ side of the aisle.
Seriously, I am trying very hard to be optimistic but these folks make it very, very hard.

Iowa Caucus is fast approaching……and nerves are being frayed……and the potential loss of donor money is driving several of these Republicans to the brink of madness – or shall I say, further madness?
