  1. Is it a coincidence that the dumbing down of America has been going on for the past three decades and the jump in Corporate Welfare?

Republicans are so worried about some Islamist terrorist killing them. The chances of that are pretty slim – IMHO.

But the chances of you being victimized by Corporations are very high – IMHO.

The majority of Americans are too busy with their blinged-out cell phones doing the social media thing and drinking their Super-sized designer coffee that they do not even look up to see what is really happening around them.

In this short video, I find myself agreeing with Rand Paul.

I also think this Islamist terrorism will only be defeated by putting Arab boots on the ground – not American boots.

As for the censorship/monitoring of the Internet – I do have a slightly different view than Rand Paul.

I think if there are known suspected Islamist terrorists using the Internet to recruit here in the US, then the government should have the right to obtain a legal warrant to go in and search/locate those folks.

You know it’s pretty bad when Rand Paul appears to be the most moderate – and the most sane one in the bunch – in that huge field of GOP candidates.

BTW – who finally woke up Jeb Bush????

My prediction: Donald Trump will get yet another bump in the polls. When it comes right down to it – Republicans are such sore losers from the past two presidential elections that they are just looking for fresh, red, raw meat. And that is what Trump is throwing these folks.

    • I did not watch the debate but I did see a summary of the highlights on CNN last night.

The segments I did see confirmed my worst fears. I wonder if these Republicans have ever thought that the Islamist Terrorists also watch CNN. That display of our Republican candidates for the presidency of the USA probably made the Islamist terrorists even more secure in the knowledge that Trump is leading in the polls. And how many times did Trump roll his eyes and make a face like he was still in junior high?

Seriously folks – we are in trouble.

  3. Asher Bob White

This is definitely NOT a Christian Nation. “Jesus wept.”

    • Bob – we have too many folks who appear to be Proud to be Stupid.

I’ve said from the beginning that if Republicans treat this real threat of Islamist Terrorism into a Holy War – Christians vs Muslims – Nobody will win.

That war has been fought – on some level – for centuries.

What part of history do these blood-thirsty war mongerers not understand?

Or – perhaps this is why these same folks who desire the Holy War are also the ones who like to rewrite history?

Interesting article about Rubio and Cruz.

Can someone tell me what is the difference between Ted Cruz saying that we need to carpet bomb the Islamic State until the sand glows and the Iranians saying they want to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth?

Both are calling for the total destruction of people.

But yet – Conservative Christian Republicans always use the argument that Iranians have stated they want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth as their justification to America to help Israel go to war and kill all those evil Muslims.

Why is it okay for the Christians/Jews to wipe their perceived enemies off the earth but not expect the Muslims to feel they have the same right to wipe Christians and Jews off the face of the Earth?

I file this logic under the mindset we’ve seen from the start of civilization –

My God can beat up your God.

That about covers it all….doesn’t it?

  5. Did anyone else feel they were watching nothing more than a pissing contest in some junior high boys locker room during that GOP debate?

How many times did Donald Trump roll his eyes and make faces.

When Jeb Bush was talking – Trump rolled his eyes, made faces and then mocked Jeb Bush as saying he was a tough guy.

DAMN – I am sick and tired of living through this mindset of junior high mentality.

When will the adults step in and take a few Juniors to the woodshed for a good ass-whooping?

Maybe that’s the first thing Hillary needs to do??
