  1. Scott Walker proved what he was when he was punked into thinking the Koch Corporate God was on the phone – remember that?

  2. Here’s another of the republican wannabes —

    • Marco Rubio is desperate to throw out his own red meat to the Republican minions.

His biggest problem at this point in time – Trump is taking up all the oxygen in the GOP Krazy Klown Kar.

Hopefully with all 17 or 19 GOP presidential hopefuls in that same damn car – a majority will go past their expiration date.

      • I’m amazed at the number of people who believe these idiots. Trump tells people he will not allow babies born in the U.S. to automatically be citizens and people believe he can and will do that. They all tell people they will repeal (and sometimes they say replace) Obamacare and people believe them. It goes onandon. Republicans must be the world’s dumbest people!

  3. Robert Reich —

Donald Trump has opened the floodgates to lies about immigration. Here are 4 trumped-up myths along with the facts.

    1. MYTH: Immigrants commit lots of crime. FACT: Immigrants don’t commit much crime. Incarceration rates among young men are lowest for immigrants, especially for the Mexicans, Salvadorans, and Guatemalans who make up the bulk of the undocumented population, according to the Justice Department.

    2. MYTH: The number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. is soaring. FACT: The number of undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. has declined from 12.2 million in 2007 to 11.3 million now, according to Pew Research Center. Which means the net rate of illegal immigration into the U.S. is less than zero.

    3. MYTH: Most new immigrants are from Mexico. FACT: More people now immigrate into the U.S. from China and India than from Mexico, according to the Bureau of Immigration. The Latin American immigration boom is ending, and the Asian immigration boom is just beginning.

    4. MYTH: The U.S. can’t afford more immigrants. FACT: We can’t afford not to have more immigrants because the U.S. population is aging. Twenty-five years ago, each retiree in America was matched by 5 workers. Now for each retiree there are only 3 workers. Without more immigration, in 15 years the ratio will fall to 2 workers for every retiree, not nearly enough to sustain our retiree population.

Demagogues grow on lies. Spread the truth.

    • Also factor in the fastest growing population is 85yrs and over.

Thanks to Medicare and our medical technology advances, people are living longer.

So – let’s get as many people to work as possible. But let’s not allow these Corporatists to bring in immigrants and exploit the cheaper labor – that just brings down the wages for everybody.

  4. There was that time JEB! forced single mothers to post their sexual history in the newspaper…

(from the link): If a mother was going to give up her child for adoption, the conservative legislature–supported and signed by one Jeb Bush– she was required to PUBLISH HER ENTIRE SEXUAL HISTORY in a major newspaper.

The idea behind it was… actually, I don’t know what the hell the idea was except to publically shame the woman. (Publically shaming unwed mothers, by the way, is something JEB! actually loudly and proudly called on people to do.)

All I know is that it passed under our wacko bird GOP legislature.

It was called the Scarlet Letter law.

    • I make a lot of Pro Life supporters mad when I ask why they don’t ever talk about the man’s responsibility in the abortion debate.

Let’s face it – if there was not a man somewhere impregnating these women, there would not be an abortion.

I’ve also ruffled more than a few feathers when I make this comment – if men were capable of getting pregnant, there would an abortion clinic on every corner with 24/7 drive thru service.

This is sad news. I liked Batgirl when I was growing up. She showed how females were just as good as the males.
