  1. Full of facts about how you hold people down and keep an “inferior” class. Sick. Everyone should watch this — it’s about the WAR ON PEOPLE.

    • There has always been a war on the people when it comes to the wealthy vs poor.

I also think that Reagan was the doofus that doubled down on this idea – and then he included the Middle Class folks – ie union members, working class folks

Reagan was the one that first brought this Corporations are people crappola (although I don’t remember him saying those exact words). But Reagan did favor Big Business over the working class.

But throughout his 8 years of terror in the White House – Reagan always used his gift of the silver tongue – to make people feel good – that he actually cared about them.

Reagan had the gift of the silver tongue – too bad the damn thing was forked.

Reagan seem to have this aura that he was this fatherly type that was protecting us . So how did this guy manage to sell weapons to our sworn enemy Iran and STILL millions of people worship Reagan to this day?

      I don’t understand that obsession………do you?

If Obama had done this exact same thing – put weapons into the hands of the Iranians – can you imagine the outrage from these same folks who continue to worship Ronald Reagan?

    • To add salt to the wound – a lot of these Fundy Christian Churches also want our taxpayer dollars to send the kids of ‘those people’ off to do the actual dying and being wounded for life.

I’ve always posted the same comment on every national blog I’ve been on – if you want to kill all these Muslims, then you need to volunteer to do the fighting and dying. Pick a plane – and there are several to choose from – that is going to Turkey, Jordan or even Israel. I’m sure all three countries would welcome fresh fodder meat to their combat front lines.

I’ve had several Republicans respond to my comment with – why should I do it, our country should be doing that.

To which I reply – and what part of the Constitution do you find that particular mandate?

  2. Asher Bob White

I am one lucky guy. And I was lucky to find this blog …. this video ,,,,, this message …… and these people who tolerate and feed me with information like this, today. Today’s post is exactly where I live. Grace and peace for each of you.

  3. Robert Reich —

Sunday quiz. Which Republican said the following?

“We have seen tax-and-tax, spend-and-spend reach a fantastic total. Behind it are the ghosts of Karl Marx and his socialism; and of Lord Keynes, with his perpetual government spending, deficits, and inflation. And we added a new ideology of our own. That is government give-away programs. If you want to see pure socialism mixed with giveaway programs, take a look at socialized medicine.”

If you guessed one of the current 17 Republican contenders, you could be forgiven because they’re all giving us variations on this. But the correct answer is Herbert Hoover, president of the United States when Wall Street crashed in 1929 and America slid into the Great Depression. Hoover had no idea how to respond and was booted out of office in 1932, when one of four Americans was unemployed.

Republicans haven’t had a new idea, or even a new set of talking points, since Hoover. And they’re still wrong.

    • But – as we all know the truth – Ronald Reagan did not balance the budget. Reagan blew the biggest deficit hole in the budget and it all went for military industrial complex and/or his buddies.

So – I don’t buy into this Republican Fantasy Fairy Tale that they are the ones that cut taxes, balance the budget and everyone gets a free Unicorn in the driveway and we are all eating that Rainbow Stew.

Republicans have been – and will always be – for the wealthiest among us.

Reagan was also the one that invited Jerry Falwell and his Immorality Boys into the inner sanctum of the GOP – which has led to our current situation that every Fundy Christian thinks that their God should be made the only God of the USA. Which would be contrary to what our own Constitution professes to give everyone the right to choose their own religion.
