( Here is my response to an article in the WSJ, and the reaction when I used the “N” word to describe how the Tea party is acting):

what is so funny to me is I am one of those so-called “RINOS”, yet I am seeing that it is those who want to use the party as their own person cause to bring in a system that the #$%$ would have admired!

  2. Have you heard this?

Seems Sen. Rand Paul thinks women are doing quite well in our society and he cites the example of women make up half of the students in medical schools.

Hmmmm……do you think maybe that has something to do with the government programs that actually helped to propel women into those areas which have historically been male dominated?

Excuse me if I am mistaken, but Rand Paul and his buddies are chomping at the bit to gut all those government programs they deem as ‘entitlements’.

And if Rand Paul is correct in his assessment that women are ‘winning’ – then why are so many women living in poverty – or just above the poverty line?

If women are winning – then why have Republicans consistently voted against issues that are just about women?

    1) equal pay – Lily Ledbetter Act
    2) Violence Against Women Act
    3) Numerous anti-abortion bills
    4) Numerous anti-birth control bills
    5) GOP voted against helping rape/sexual assault victims in the military.

Plus -if you notice – Rand Paul took a swipe at Bill Clinton for being a predator. This must be a new GOP talking point – because Rand Paul’s wife also talked about Bill Clinton in some magazine article last year.

So., these folks are going to bring out Bill Clinton as the poster boy example of how Democrats are the ones waging the War on Women?

Folks…this is going to be a bumpy and interesting run up to the midterm 2014 elections and then the presidential 2016 election.

I was not happy with Bill Clinton’s behavior during that time – but I have to wonder.

The God Party (like Republicans like to think they are) preach about how the woman should stand behind her man – no matter what – and we’ve seen that in several examples when prominent Male Republican Congress Critters got themselves caught with their mistress(s).

Republican women are praised and admired for being so supportive – blah, blah, blah…

Consider this – Hillary Clinton has called all kinds of nasty names – but who in the self-professing God Party praised and admired Hillary for staying in her marriage with Bill?

If marriage is so sacred to these folks – then shouldn’t Hillary and Bill be put up as an example of how strong a marriage should be?

I suspect Rand Paul was just trying pontificate and bluff his way through NOT answering the question posed to him – which was how he felt about Huckabee’s comments…..

Plus, I think Rand Paul took a big swipe at Hillary Clinton – through slapping Bill first.

Hmmm…….do you this new GOP tactic will win over women voters?

Bill Clinton is still very popular……….Bill Clinton left a budget surplus when Baby Bush came in and waged his war – Yee Haw…

And as for men being predators for seducing young people…….hey do Catholics really want to go down that road?

    • I think when republicans have to shorten their campaign season by BOTH delaying the earliest primary allowed without penalty AND moving up the party’s convention it screams: The more voters hear from these republican candidates the worse it is for our prospects of being elected!

I have confidence we’ll hear plenty! Their wannabes are extraordinarily stupid and there will be mics and cameras at the ready to catch what they say and do — whether they put them on stage in a debate setting or not. These idiots extraordinaire are proud of their stupidity and assured it speaks to their constituency.

  3. My DIL has a good suggestion – we should put a live microphone on all these prominent Male Republicans.

And then we’ll see exactly why so many are so obsessed with sex – homosexuals and those women with those untamed libidos.

Is this something these GOP Stepford Males really feel – or are they told to talk about this sex stuff?

Or are they just stuck on S-T-U-P-I-D ??

  4. These republican men are totally clueless. I don’t think they’ll ever recognize that men play an equal role in procreation. I just don’t think they’re smart enough to understand.

      • Why even cover Viagra in the first place?

This is one medication that is marketed to help men with their libido – isn’t it?

If Huckabee wants to say erroneously that birth control is used to control a woman’s libido – then we KNOW that Viagra is marketed to men so they can hope to get it up to get satisfy their libido.

Why should Uncle Sugar make certain these men get their happy-ending pills?

What’s good the goose is good for the gander – IMHO

  5. Interesting thoughts here! You will be glad you took the time to read this piece.

Fox News is dying. Is it time to stop obsessing about them?

  6. Hobby Lobby and other Loud-n-Proud ‘Christian’ businesses do not believe they have to follow the rules other businesses have to follow…..but I wonder, how many tax breaks/subsidies do these Christians line up at the government teat to suck on?

    • While talking about sucking on the government teat for tax breaks/subsidies – let’s not forget those non-profit groups that profess to be doing such godly missions as – because your life matters.

There is a reason why so many foreign workers are employed in these businesses – tax breaks, cheap labor – just to name two.

When I see these profit-making companies exposing cheap labor the way they do – and getting taxpayer money to do it – makes me wonder……where do all these foreign workers live?

Then I think back to that song made famous by Tennessee Ernie Ford – 16 Tons. remember that song?

The company store……the company-owned dilapidated and rundown rental housing?

The Old South Plantation owners did their slavery all wrong – they had to actually feed, house and clothe their slaves.

Current day plantation owners simply socialize the costs and privatize the profits.

And WE the TAXPAYERS are being used, abused and manipulated to keep this current slavery alive and well..

      • Tennessee Ernie Ford singing ’16 Tons’:

This song should make one think when we keep hearing about these coal mining accidents, chemical spills, corporations exploiting illegal immigrants and bosses who just don’t give a damn about their employees.

Notice – this video was from 1956 – years before the Civil Rights Act was signed by President Johnson.

And – this song was not even about the rights of the blacks – this song was about the poor whites who are trapped in a never-ending cycle controlled by corporate bosses.

This song should be brought back today as a reminder of where our country was – and still is – apparently in West Virginia and other coal mining states.

Time may be passing by….but it appears the same old Corporate S-H-I-T is alive and well….and thriving under the new and Improved GOP government of no regulations – no rules – just keep that money rolling in..

      • the company-owned dilapidated and rundown rental housing?

I wonder how many of these rundown rental housing complexes are sucking on the government teat for Section 8 subsidies?

  7. I would much rather be talking about how our politicians plan to fix our own country’s problems as listed in this article – than if birth control controls a woman’s libido.

Wouldn’t that be a refreshing and welcomed change in our current political debate?

It is time for strong, independent and free-thinking American Women – and those men who love them – get serious about letting our voices be heard.

  8. This is a very interesting article. But, I have to wonder, would this story be wasted on these Republicans that have actually called for child labor laws to be repealed?

Remember Newt Gingrich – on the 2012 GOP primary campaign trail – when he actually stated that school janitors should be fired and school kids should be allowed to clean their own schools.

  9. This is a question I found at a tea bagger link:

Do you have confidence in Obama’s ability to make the right decisions for America’s future?

A recently released Washington Post/ABC News poll found that 63% of Americans have little to no confidence in Obama’s ability to make the right decisions for America’s future. Do you have confidence in Obama’s ability to make the right decisions for America’s future?

I have great confidence in Obama. I believe that he is doing a great job moving America forward in his transformation of America to more of a European style Socialist society.

I have absolutely no confidence in Obama’s ability to make the right decisions for this country. His policies have destroyed this country enough!

The places to mark don’t show up in the copy and paste, but this is the exact wording of their question.
