The level of intolerance by the GOP is incomprehensible until the strategy is understood. It is easy to dismiss comments by a few. However when it becomes a chorus line that is perfectly synchronized, it becomes a strategy.
Republicans balk when one speaks about the Republican war on women, war on the poor, war on the environment, war on gays, war on minorities, and many other select micro wars. They don’t want these wars called out. And the reality is these should not be called wars at all. It is much too simplistic.
Is the person willing to look the other way – and keep his mouth shut – while he continues working with those who willingly CHOSE to cover up child molesters allowed to use the defense that – his good was not enough to help the victim?
Hmmm…..I wonder, will God (the Big Guy with the alleged power to throw you into Hell Fire for eternity) be as forgiving to these blinged-out robed men who use the defense that – they just could not fight to save these young victims?
Interesting to note – these robed men kept a secret list in the safe…….what for, a trophy piece?
IIRC – BTK kept personal items of his victims to relive the thrill of his actions.
I will NEVER understand this type of thinking…..and I will NEVER understand how many sheeple still do not blame their church officials – for anything?
Maybe there is no legal law to cover these robed men’s actions…but, surely there is a moral law somewhere?
Might I suggest these robed men read their own damn Bible where Jesus teaches people to treat children with love, respect and dignity?
When it comes to Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson ……I will say one thing.
He has a right to his own opinion and we all have the right to our own opinion.
What I don’t like is the way Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and the rest of these CON yokels are trying to make this about religious freedom issue.
I’ve watched Duck Dynasty a few times – and they always are taped as they say their prayer before each meal.
So….if A&E are really trying to deny this guy’s right to his religious freedom – then why in the HELL would they videotape the entire family praying???
I don’t agree with Phil Robertson on his stated views…..but exactly what did people expect would be his views when this show is about a Louisiana swamp family?

What I do not like are the outside agitator groups who are swooping down to make money off this current non-issue – IMHO.

The last episode I watched was when Grandpa Phil took his grandson checking the crawfish traps.
This old coot actually used the words – ding dongs and female crawfish vaginas. (I am not kidding folks).
The he proceeded to rub the male crawfish in such a way to make the ding dong move up and down.
That is when busted out laughing…..and then Grandpa continues to say that in Louisiana – parents and grandparents teach the youngins about the birds and bees using crawfish.

Not kidding….the woman explaining this new and upcoming trend said she was from the East Coast – and she proved that fact when she used the term – Middle West – instead of Midwest.
The radio host corrected her because he said he was from the Midwest and nobody here calls it the Middle West.
All I could say was….WTF ???
Like the comfort foods of stews, casseroles, beef, corn and just plain ol’ good food?
What will these marketing folks think up next to the be Newest in Vogue trend?
There’s a break. My grandsons from afar are still here, but at their parent’s home most of the time. My Boston bunch and my sister from Charlotte arrive Monday. I think I can get the laundry caught up, the floors swept, bathrooms cleaned, and restock the cabinets and fridge. I’m making a ‘ball room’ for the youngest Boston grandson (he was one in late Oct) out of a playpen and a BUNCH of balls. I expect to have balls everywhere. 🙂 I kinda like messes that are made from fun!
I’m still nursing the world’s sorest back end from the fall I took almost three weeks ago and that’s giving me the biggest problems. I don’t actually remember anything hurting worse so I’ve had to work really hard to keep a smile on my face and in my voice. Having all these loves of my life around really does help keep my mind off it.

I made a ball room out of an old swimming pool (the kind with one-side up like a wall. I think the kids’ looked like a Hippo.
The kids had such a blast……and balls ended up everywhere…..but Grandma got a lot of very good pictures that day….and the kids made some good memories.
