  1. Women Settle Case Over Humiliating, Unwarranted Body Cavity Searches in Texas

(from the link): When liberals use the words “War on Women” to describe the policies that Republicans currently support when it comes to how women are viewed and treated in our society, some on the right really get their undergarments in a twist. But all you really have to do is just do a Google News search for “Texas + women” and every single bit of hyperbolic rhetoric from the left will be wholly validated, and it’s not just about abortion.

  2. There’s nothing quite like a well-known conspiracy theorist whack job who regularly claims pretty much every bad thing that happens is a “false flag operation,” telling the world you’re their BFF to start off a bid for the White House! Rand Paul must be thrilled that Alex Jones spilled the beans about their long, close relationship during one of his recent paranoid idiot-fests radio shows.

LIbertarianism is a very, very bad deal.

I used to read a little Alex Jones. Way out there stuff, that made me go, “Huh?” quite often.

  3. Fetal pain is a lie: How phony science took over the abortion debate
New laws banning abortion after 20 weeks are based on pseudoscience — and real research proves it conclusively

  4. This congress critter, Robert Pittenger R-NC, forgot he was talking to a Teabagger when he asked about a “thoughtful” answer — there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that the Senate OR the President will defund Obamacare, and since the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled it’s constitutional, it’s here to stay. A teabagger being capable of thought has the same chances as that snowball in hell .

As Christianity is the pick and choose religion, Republicanism, especially the TPers, is the pick and choose party. That’s why they go together so well. Like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong.

Need facts on what’s happening in this country? We all know this, but only because we look for things and keep our eyes and ears open, then share.

15 things everyone would know if there were a liberal media

    • Six corporations – Time Warner, Disney, News Corporation, Viacom, Comcast, and CBS – control roughly 90% of the media in the U.S.

These companies are in business to make a profit.

Jeff Bezos just bought the NY Times. Apparently he sold quite a lot of stock to by it personally, so it isn’t owned by Amazon, but since he’s made his money from Amazon… I get along with Amazon on most things and don’t have anything huge to complain about. Only one or two things. That doesn’t mean I think this NYT thing is good.

Bill always has a few good zingers. The show is off for a 5 week summer vacation, so I hope nothing major happens. I always like to hear his view. That of his guests, too. I was quite impressed with Jay Z last week. I don’t keep up with rap, but Bill could quite lyrics, and Jay Z was quite surprised.

I am so impressed with some of HBO’s series. The Newsroom is fabulous, but with Aaron Sorkin’s writing, it’s outstanding. One of these days, I’m going to set a schedule and start watching West Wing. I missed it, back in the day, and I’ve heard such good things about it. The man is a genius. Hmmm, Bill should get him on the panel.
