Merry Christmas to you also frigginloon. The year 2012 has to be better than 2010 or 2011 – don’t you think? If nothing else, 2012 will have the pleasure of exposing certain ‘right’ political hacks for what they truly are….hacks.
Well, I have been preoccupied and AWOL from Pop Blog again, and for that, I apologize once again. It’s been a bit of a rough week, but it is all good now.
This afternoon, I’ll be hosting my grandkids for a bit of wrapping paper destruction, then a quiet X-mas Eve, packing for yet another journey. Tomorrow, I have a lunch date across the River, so I’ll need to get an early start.
The GOP presidential clown car continues to give us the gift that keeps on giving – Perry and Gingrich failed to get enough signatures to make the Virginia primary – and Michele Bachmann continues to live in a fantasy world of her own making – Santorum has a plan to get the gay community to vote for him – so the coming New Year should bring more laughs and merriment for our side.
Meanwhile, our President has won yet another victory and is actually looking pretty good in the polls. I am looking forward to a series of Presidential Debates between Barack and Mitt Gingrich or Ron Santorum. It should be well worth the wait.
So, blessings of the Season to all of you, near and dear, be it Christmas cheer or just a well deserved Winter Solstice. Be safe, be well and enjoy your families and friends. Life is too short to have regrets.

Check this site out I discovered it last year and my grandkids love it. You can track Santa on his trip.
Merry Christmas one and all. I hope 2012 brings you all the love and happiness that you can carry.
