I could hardly believe my eyes this morning! There was a deer in my front yard! One of those pretty ones with the long white tail they carry over their backs. In my front yard! I live in the middle of a neighborhood! WOW! Poor baby, wonder where it came from and sure hope it gets back safely!
Having never experienced a close relationship with a father figure, I envy all of you who have. It provides a sense of security that is hard to get in any other way. So cherish the men who held you and picked you up; who tossed a ball or shot some hoops. The time that father’s spend with children makes a permanent difference in preparing them for life.
Happy Father’s Day to all those men who loved and encouraged their kids to be all that they could be and who loved them even when they messed up!
