  1. Morning fnord. I’m responding from my email I got from the new subscription box you added.
This is a really handy-dandy feature, and I use it on other blogs. Saves time on my morning ’rounds’.

    • I have no idea what you’re talking about, honest I don’t, but if it helps I’m all for it. I do miss the listing of threads on our front page that disappeared. Even tho it sometimes didn’t work, I liked it when it did. Can I have both the new widget and the old?

As someone mentioned in comments on one of the main news websites, Rand is in Kentucky and won’t be affected by the oil spill, so it’s okay for him to say BP isn’t at fault. It was an accident. Of course that accident might not have been such a big deal and so unrepairable if BP had used the safety precautions it should have used. But if you’re looking for campaign money from the big guys, you sure don’t want to point out that they screwed up big time.

Well, the weather looks to be decent today and the winds, however annoying, should help dry out the lawn from our recent rains.

    Ya’ know what this mean?

Yeah, I get to poop-scoop today.

    Lucky me.

    Anyone wanna help?

  4. If it wasn’t such a complete and utter tragedy, I would laugh. No, WS Clark , I’m not talking about you having to poop scoop, I am talking about the countless animals and wildlife who will perish. Geez, I don’t even like oil leaking on my driveway let alone on a pelican đŸ˜¦

I thought for a while that technology and intervention would save the coast of the Gulf, but that has not happened.

The island marshes have been destroyed already in some areas and there is no bringing them back. There is no way to clean them without destroying them. Even inspecting them on foot causes more damage.

It’s sad that perhaps the only natural solution to the issue is a hurricane.
