Although he lived April 25, 1908 – April 27, 1965, it seems he must have been talking about today.

“We hardly need to be reminded that we are living in an age of confusion – a lot of us have traded in our beliefs for bitterness and cynicism or for a heavy package of despair, or even a quivering portion of hysteria. Opinions can be picked up cheap in the market place while such commodities as courage and fortitude and faith are in alarmingly short supply.” — Edward R. Murrow

Ok, this was one of those days!

I seem to have woke up in no mood to tolerate B.S.

So as you might guess I could only stand to watch about ten minutes of any of the Political me-me shows this morning. ABC had our former Governor on, asked very direct questions and she started babbling!
The question of Stubin and his threat of not voting for health care reform.

Her answer was like he is a former member of the financial and health committee so he will be in favor of health care reform.

Then McConnell was on after her and he took started talking about anything but an answer to the direct question!

The other programs were no different so I watch the military channel.

Interesting tidbits learned, a British minister to give the citizens a feeling of being active in the war effort had a “Pot and Pans drive” Stating the metal was need to build planes.

The end result was over whelming, piles and piles of pots and pan and the true was that none of it could be used to build planes! When asked the minister said he did not think it would be this successful and he had no idea what to do with all these damn pots and pans?

Some time I suffer these minor defeats, long ago I quit eating at Pizza hut because they stopped having pork sausage. Nothing else there I liked so that ended my eating Pizza Hut.

Then today went to Cici’s for a birthday lunch for son-in-law and oldest grandson yeah same birthday.
The last time I went to CiCi’s I found out they had quit having the Alfredo sauce for the noodles.
One of the key staples for me eating there and today I discover they had quit having pork sausage too!
I decided then and there it was the last time to go to CiCi’s I am afraid since the only thing left there I like is the Cinnamon rolls so if I go again they will have stop having them too!
