bloggersBloggers, just like you and I, are shakin’ up the way information is found!  We’re giving the MSM a run for their money, and some aren’t proving worthy of the status they’ve accepted but not earned.

Give ’em hell today!  🙂

I didn’t realize until yesterday when reading Huffington Post blog that Dick Cheney had Secret Service protection. Cheney asked Obama to extend this protection and Obama granted his request .

I wondered why Obama would even give Cheney the time of day, let alone extend his Secret Service protection. But then I thought, how brilliant Obama is – to have a sworn enemy actually request that his every move be followed.

Is this Obama’s way of keeping tabs on Cheney? Does Cheney even know he is being played like a fiddle or is Cheney arrogant enough (or cheap) to think he actually deserves Secret Service protection?

After all, Cheney may just think of himself as the past president – as most of the country does.

  2. Geez, the best I can do today is a friggin shark on a train story. Oh yeah, it was still alive!

First because Loon remembered me with live shark on a train. One of the greatest steamboat accidents was when a steamboat that was overcrowd exploded in the middle of the night. One man found himself in need of something to stay afloat and being in the hole he saw a large crate. He opened the crate and found himself confronting a live Alligator! The fight was on and he ended up winning and riding to shore in the large crate.

As to Cheney, who among us believe that Cheney is largely responsible for many innocent deaths and for the greatest mistake of this country? We are not alone and there are those who would see him needing to be punished. Yes you are right in that now Cheney would have a ready made tracing system attached to him.

But what would be said if Cheney were to be shot and where would the pointing finger point in at least duplicity?

What did we do before the internet?

(And incidentally, WHY am getting a little red line that tells me internet and spellcheck are mis-spelled?))

    I got one for ya.

Went to mow my mom’s yard this evening. The mower died and would NOT start again. I tried cleaning the filter, changing the gas, nothing.

SO I went on line and did a search on “mower not getting gas”.

Number one hit was for a discussion forum. Among the tips there was, “remove the gas cap. Rap a rag around the top of the gas tank and blow into the tank..”

SEVERAL people had responded that this worked every time for them. SO, I tried it.

Just as the other posters had said, this dead mower fired right up!!

A shop would have charged 50 bucks to clear out the fuel line but I fixed it getting a little more intimate than I liked with the mower.

Score another one for the information age.

    • Hmm and now you are a gasoline sniffing addict…..If you research “Gas Sniffing Addict” online, the first forum that comes up says DO NOT go to the “mower not getting gas” forum page.
      LOL! I couldn’t help myself…. 🙂
