Sarah Palin is resigning as Governor of Alaska at the end of the month. Speculation is she will be spending all her time prepping for a run at the White House in 2012. Good luck with that.
My take on it is there is something not right here: it’s like she’s quitting in the middle of her term. I smell something rotten in Alaska.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac lists the traditional timing of the Dog Days or “the dog days of summer,” as the 40 days beginning July 3 and ending August 11, coinciding with the ancient heliacal (at sunrise) rising of the Dog Star, Sirius. These are the days of the year when rainfall is at its lowest levels.
Wonder if global climate change has changed these dates?
