Settle Credit Debt Now! ~sekanblogger

The credit industry is scared and willing to settle debts on the cheap right now. If you have credit card debt and they are hounding you, offer them 50% of what you owe IF they will settle the debt and close the account.card
NO CRAP.

A 50% OFF SALE ON DEBT.
I’m not kidding. Be firm. Don’t let them dick you around. Offer them half and tell them if they don’t take it you are moving to the next person on the list.
I payed off my debt just like that. By the way that’s me digging in the garbage there. I payed off debt and got some used furniture free this week.
Do it now before congresscritters SELL OUT to the banking industry’s lobbyists. The fight on The Hill is starting already. I have a feeling the K street boys have plenty of money. If you can settle before they’re sure thay have Obama on their payroll, do it. NOW.

Secretary Clinton asks for advice

hillary-clinton2North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan…the list goes on. So, how does Secretary of State Hillary Clinton cope? By requesting the advice of her predecessors, apparently. On Tuesday all but one of the living secretary’s of state convened at Madeline Albright’s home in Washington, D.C. to talk diplomacy. The list of those seated at the dinner table was full of political all-stars, including Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, and James Baker. The only one missing was Alexander Haig.

And after she asks all those who have experience and knowledge she will be well prepared to make decisions for America. I’m proud of her.

What do you think of the job Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is doing?

HIT AND RUN LIARS

Okay this pisses me OFF! crazy 069
May 16 at 1:30 a.m. a drunk hit my daughter’s car parked in front of my house. Not just a fender bender, it shoved her car into and UNDER my car. The wife and the neighbor both went out and saw a car leaving. We called police who took a report. We heard nothing from them. Last Friday, reading the paper we find in the police notes that they found the car, owned by Wendy L. Long (driver unknown). So since Friday I’ve been trying to get the police report. Seems the filing clerk was on vacation and nobody else knew anything. Sheesh.

So I read over the report, which basically describes my damages and then restates some apparent lies. Wendy L. Long tells the cops that she sold the Car to a Suzanne Diaconeslu. Now the report states that Diaconeslu says the car was stolen by person unknown. Google up the name Diaconeslu. ZERO HITS. WTF?

Wouldn’t there be a record somewhere on the net with that name? Sounds pretty phony to me. So I talk to one of the officers. He basically tells me that it’s up to me to go after Wendy L. Long. WHAT? I was provided NO information other than the address for Ms Long, which I got from the newspaper. crazy 076

Should the cops have been in touch with me when they found the car?

Shouldn’t Ms Diaconeslu have filed a stolen vehicle report?

Shouldn’t the police be doing an investigation and trying to arrest somebody?

Wouldn’t your average Joe go confront Ms Wendy and risk being assaulted?

Is it really up to me to find these people and politely beg for their insurance information? What if anything is to be done here?

HELP! ~sekanblogger

Enabling Obama Hatred…

NYTimes columnist, Frank Rich, once more hits the nail on the head with his searing commentary on the Republican inaction about the growing hatred amongst certain quarters of their camp.

The piece is entitled The Obama Haters’ Silent Enablers.

The BIG difference in Democrats and Republicans

OK, ONE of the big differences — there are many!

Democrats are human and accept that every other person is human also. This means we know we say and do things that are wrong and we regret them, we pay the price, however high. But we don’t act like we’re above other people, we aren’t hypocritical because we know humans fail and make poor choices, act downright stupid and get caught.

Ensign AffairHere’s Senator John Ensign (R-NV) admitting his adultery. Oh, he was sad and he was sorry. Probably really sorry that his lover’s husband was going to go public unless Ensign paid him not to. But here’s the deal — Ensign has been very outspoken and his actions and his words make him not just human, not just stupid, but a hypocrite!

He called for President Bill Clinton to resign because of his affair, saying, “He has no credibility left.”

“Marriage is the cornerstone on which our society was founded,” Ensign proclaimed from the Senate floor. “For those who say that the Constitution is so sacred that we cannot or should not adopt the Federal Marriage Amendment, I would simply point out that marriage, and the sanctity of that institution, predates the American Constitution and the founding of our nation. It predates the founding of our nation and even the landing at Plymouth Rock. Marriage, as a social institution, predates every other institution on which ordered society in America and the world as a whole, has relied, including even the church itself.”

Ensign concluded, “It is not right to mold marriage to fit the desires of a few, against the wishes of so many, and to ignore the important role of marriage.”

I could find many other examples of this human being who thought he was so special and so above other human beings. I could nudge our memory of Gingrich who was conducting his own liaison while blurting out stupidities. In fact, we could list examples of Republican hypocrisy all day long.

The big question in my mind is — Will they ever learn? Will they ever even recognize that they are humans, less than perfect, and karma really will bite them in the butt!?
